I ordered these glasses and the package of grips for my 8-year-old grandson. Unfortunately, the glasses slipped down on his nose, even when the grips were added. He had planned to use these while playing baseball, but since the glasses would not stay up, he determined that they would not work. My purchase totaled $54.50, however my refund was only $37.21. The grips were not returnable, and I was charged processing fees. I forfeited $17.29 since the glasses didn't fit.
Nancy, I am so very sorry for this bad experience and that the did not fit him!! This is Scott, the CEO and Founder of Roshambo. While the youth size is designed to fit a lot of faces in the 6-12 year old range, every little face is different, so you never quite know until you try them on. The slip grips not being refundable was a website error on our part! This is a brand new product so we were still working through some bugs. I have made that change on the website and I just refunded you that amount, plus the shipping protection fee. Thank you for bringing that to our attention! For returns, unfortunately, as a small business we do have to charge a small return shipping fee. Many big and small ecommerce brands have that policy as shipping has become so expensive. We do everything we can to keep our product prices as low as possible despite making them in Italy, offering all polarized lenses, etc. I wish we could absorb that cost, but we are still a very small business so can't do some of the things Amazon can. Exchanges are always free shipping though. Thank you for giving us a try, it really disappoints me you did not have a great experience and I hope you might give us another try someday. I believe in our products and service -- wish they shades were a fit for you grandson, because I think he would have loved them!!
